Who We Are
Uncommon Cups and Cones is a locally owned ice cream shop in New Albany, Indiana. We pride ourselves on offering flavorful, super-premium, hand-dipped ice cream served in charming teacups and classic cones. Our cozy atmosphere, filled with antiques, provides a welcoming environment for all ages.
Our Menu
Our menu includes scoops of ice cream served in Cups and Cones, Classic and Brownie sundaes, Floats and other Specialties, such as Banana Splits, Flight (8 flavor sampling) and Ice Cream Nachos, just to name a few.
We also have pints and select novelty items available in our Grab 'n Go freezers

Come Find Us in UPTOWN New Albany!
We're located in Uptown New Albany at 518 Vincennes Street next to the former Honey Creme Donut Shop and a few blocks from New Albany High School.
We are sandwiched between two Uptown murals. This mural is located at the corner of Spring and Vincennes Streets. Turn right here, and you'll find us before you get to the next one.

We make Banana Splits customized with your chosen flavors and toppings.
Add a delicious, warm brownie to your Sundae. You choose the ice cream and topping, then it's covered in whipped cream, nuts and a cherry!

- The Upper Room may be available for groups of up to 15 guests during select non-peak times.
- Reservations are not available during special events, peak hours, or our busiest season (May-August).
- Gatherings are limited to 60–90 minutes with no overflow seating.
- Available at no charge when most guests purchase treats, or $75/hour for room ren
