Who We Are
Uncommon Cups and Cones is a locally owned, cozy, eclectic ice cream shop filled with antiques and serving flavorful ice cream in teacups and cones located in New Albany, Indiana. We are open year-round.
We have a semi-private room (The Upper Room) which is best for small gatherings of 12-15. Perfect for book clubs, team meetings, showers, study groups and celebrations.

Our Menu
Our menu includes scoops of ice cream served in Cups and Cones, Classic and Brownie sundaes, Floats and other Specialties, such as Banana Splits, Flight (8 flavor sampling) and Ice Cream Nachos, just to name a few.
We also have pints, chocolate covered bananas, Ice Cream Tacos and more available in our Grab 'n Go freezer.

We're located in Uptown New Albany at 518 Vincennes Street next to the former Honey Creme Donut Shop and a few blocks from New Albany High School.
We are sandwiched between two Uptown murals. This mural is located at the corner of Spring and Vincennes Streets. Turn right here, and you'll find us before you get to the next one.
OPEN YEAR-Round!
This mural is on the corner of Vincennes and Oak Streets. We can see it from our shop. If you pass it up, you've gone too far.
Since we have indoor seating, you can indulge in your favorite seasonal flavors year-round.

We make Banana Splits customized with your chosen flavors and toppings.
Add a delicious, warm brownie to your Sundae. You choose the ice cream and topping, then it's covered in whipped cream, nuts and a cherry!
The Upper Room seats 12-15 guests comfortably and is available to reserve for any get together without charge, if more than half of the attendees will be getting products from our shop. Or, $25/hour for room only.
Organizers may bring in outside food and drinks and come 1 hour early to decorate. (No confetti or glitter, please.)
